This page is specifically for small cell applications within the MPC jurisdiction located in areas other than public rights-of-way. Small Cell applications are specific to the City of Shreveport. APPLICATION INFORMATION

For Online Applications:

  1. Logon to MyGovernmentOnline.
    • We use a third party application called MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) for our online applications. If you have not used MGO before, please follow the Customer Portal Guide to set up an account.
    • Once an account has been created follow the "Apply Online" link at the end of the instructions to start your application. For assistance in applying online, please follow the step by step Online Application Submittal Guide.
    • When selecting an Application Type, choose "Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Small Cell".
    • Ensure all items from the checklist are included in your application. Refer to the Application Checklist section of this page.
      • Small Cells Application.  
      • Structural Analysis. 
      • Construction Document.
      • Lease Agreement (if applicable).
    • Once submitted you will receive a confirmation message and application number (i.e. APP-MPC-####). The Shreveport MPC will receive your application and review the application. You will be contacted for additional information or to progress to the next step.
  2. Submit Payment.
    • Once you have received your invoice, you may submit payment online at MyGovernmentOnline.com or in person on the first floor of Government Plaza at the cashier window. For assistance with making an online payment, please use the Online Payment Guide
  3. Await MPC Staff approval.
    • At this time, MPC staff as well as a consultant will review all applications within a batch individually.
    • You will be contacted if staff or the consultant have any comments or any documents require some changes.
  4. Receive sign approval by the Executive Director.
    • Pay the Wireless Telecommunication Facility Permit (WTFP) fee after each individual application has been approved.
    • You may now begin construction once you have received the WTFP from the Executive Director.
