Façade improvements with no building square footage or dwelling units added do not require a site plan review. These modifications will solely require a façade review.

If you plan to modify any additional site elements (i.e. landscaping, parking, access, etc.) or add square footage and/or dwelling units you will need to undergo a Site Plan Review.


APPLICATION INFORMATION

For Paper Forms:

  1. Print or download the Façade Review Application via the "APPLICATION PDF" link at the end of the instructions.
    • Ensure all items from the checklist are included in your application. Refer to the Application Checklist section of this page
      • Application Form
      • Elevations
    • You may submit your application via this page below, mail, e-mail, or in person.
    • Once submitted you will receive a confirmation message and application number (i.e. APP-MPC-####). The Shreveport MPC will receive your application and review the application. You will be contacted for additional information or to progress to the next step.
  2. Submit Payment.
    • Once you have received your invoice, you may submit payment in person on the first floor of Government Plaza at the cashier window. If you have a MyGovernmentOnline account, you may submit payment online. For assistance with making an online payment, please use the Online Payment Guide. 
  3. Await administrative approval.
    • At this time, MPC staff will review your submitted drawings.
    • You will be contacted if staff have any questions or comments.
  4. Receive a stamped copy of the approved site plan.
    • Once the façade review has been completed, the Executive Director will approve the application. You will then receive a stamped copy of your drawings. This is the last step of the process with the MPC Office. 
    • Please contact the Permit Office at 318-673-6100 for any additional steps. Any permits or following steps will need to be done with the Permit Office.
