About the DRAFT rewrite of the Caddo Parish Unified Development Code 

With the adoption of the Caddo Parish Unified Development Code in 2017, the MPC staff intended on treating it as a living, breathing document that would undergo regular review to ensure that the Code would promote sound, stable, and desirable development; however, there has been a minimal number of amendments made to improve policy and regulations. The purpose of this DRAFT rewrite of the Caddo Parish Unified Development Code is to bring the vision from the citizens of the unincorporated areas of Caddo Parish into reality and address many of the important issues that will reflect rural planning and zoning best practices.
