Unified Development Code

Caddo Parish Unified Development Code.  Effective December 1, 2017, all property located within the MPC’s Planning Limits of Caddo Parish will be regulated by the Caddo Parish Unified Development Code.   Any property that was zoned to a more restrictive zoning district (down zoned) as a result of the adoption of the Official Zoning Map associated with the Caddo Parish UDC will be eligible for reconsideration by the MPC Board and the Caddo Parish Commission at no cost. Property owners have 24 months from the effective date of this policy (December 1, 2017) to submit an application to the MPC Board for reconsideration.

City of Shreveport Shreveport Unified Development Code.  Effective  Monday, May 15, 2017, all property located within the City Limits of Shreveport will be regulated
by the City of Shreveport Unified Development Code.  Any property that was zoned to a more restrictive zoning district (down zoned) as a result of the adoption of the Official Zoning Map associated with the UDC will be eligible for reconsideration by the MPC Board and Shreveport City Council at no cost. Property owners have 24 months from the effective date of this policy (August 2, 2017) to submit an application to the MPC Board for reconsideration.
